Luminal Stenting
Endoscopic-guided stent placement is an effective and safe procedure for malignant luminal (interior) obstruction of the GI tract with good clinical outcomes. Stents may be placed in the esophagus, colon, small bowel or stomach to relieve obstruction. This endoscopic therapy is a minimally invasive, less expensive alternative to surgery.
